Katherine Moore Thomas passed away on Wednesday, May 17 after suffering a stroke. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street, Macon, GA. A Celebration of her Life will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The only child of the late Celia Bozeman Moore and Elijah Monroe Moore, Katherine was born in Macon, Georgia and lived her entire life here. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, an excellent seamstress and quilter, avid book reader, gardener, and loved being at the beach every chance she got. Katherine was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was a life long Episcopalian.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack Guerry Thomas, five children, Margaret Stolz (Rick), Marianne Mann (Joel), Celia Jernigan (Clark), Guerry Thomas (Sharon) and Mike Thomas (Angela). Katherine was "Doodle" to many of her cousins and her twelve grandchildren, Jason and Jarad Stolz, Nicholas (Molly), Michael (Danielle), and Taylor Mann, Cameron, Clark Elliott, Katherine and Riley Jernigan, Alex (Brandy) and Ian Thomas and Loisann Prosser.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Friends of the Cannonball House Inc., 856 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA. 31201 or donor's favorite charity.
