Mrs. Mary Nan Knott Moore, 85, of Sylvester died Monday November 20, 2017 at Willson Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Warwick United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Glenn Saunders will officiate.
Mrs. Moore was born on September 18, 1932 in Warwick to the late Thomas C. and Ethel Dixon Knott. She had lived in Sylvester most of her life. Mrs. Moore was retired from the Georgia Forestry Commission and also taught as a substitute teacher for Worth County School Schools. She was a faithful member of Isabella Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary W. Houston (Mack) of Sylvester and Nancy F. Carstens (Earl) of Lookout Mountain, GA; grandsons, Hank Houston (Paula) of Sylvester and Thom Houston (fiancé Sarah) of Birmingham, AL; granddaughters, Anna Carstens and Mimi Carstens, both of Lookout Mountain, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:30 AM until the Service Hour at Warwick United Methodist Church Cemetery.
